I never hit the book & I need it
After reading all the reviews on these books, I bought four to start my 9-yr-old son on the series hoping it would be a good one. The one book has a devil on the cover, and inside. Another one talks about an ogre wearing bloody ox skins for clothes. My son scanned the books and picked up on those things right away and said, 'i'm not reading these." I read this book and didn't find it particularly engaging, a bit disjointed and overall not entertaining in the least. Not all kids like graphic images or writing and it seems somewhat inappropriate for this age group.
Very funny book. A lot of books mentioned in the book and would like to borrow them from the library

We chose this book off school list for summer reading project. Easy; Very short read. Delivery was well within expected time frame.
Love how this book incorporates other books and story lines. It made us go out and buy the stories we didn’t have. Worth the price.
