Great book and great learning.
This book is only second to R. of a stock market Operator. I've been trading actively fot three years and learned quite a lot.
decent book if the market is of interest to you. it was written at the turn of the century so don't expect it to be up to date info. found a few key points that i had already knew but maybe needed to hear it again from a different person. will go back and read it again in a few months to see if i missed anything.
Ok, first off, this book isn't that great in the first place. There were a couple of good trading tips but nothing earth shattering. The real issue is the kindle formatting.. Horrible, distracting, and frustrating. Don't buy this book on kindle, buy the real deal if you so desire. Too many strange alignments, spacing, strange and cryptic letter characters.

This is the book that begin it all for me. It got me into reading price and volume together and introduced me to how accumulation and distribution are conducted. I carried a different version of this book around with me everywhere, finally I bought this version after my current one got dog eared and mangled. The added Original magazine articles are a nice touch and round the book off very well. Once my current copy gets dog eared and mangled I am going to re-buy this version.
Let me start by saying that since the material in this book was published in 1910, it is public domain and can be legally obtained for free (search for Day traders bible). I purchased this book because I wanted a hard copy of the material. I was a bit disappointed to find that this book is just the scanned in pages of the original articles(including some coffee stains). I expected that my $20 would at least warrant someone retying the articles.
That being said, the material in this book is top notch. Wyckoff was a pioneer and a genius. Every trader can benefit from reading his works.
This is an excellent book about tape reading. You have to study this book to get the most of it. Track what the author says on a chart and on a bid/ask quote screen. He discusses valuable things about volume and its nature. The author wrote this book when prices weren't changing 100 times per second like they are now. If you take a moment and contemplate what he's saying you will begin to see the same relationships today. You can't see it now because things are moving so fast and that's why reading a book from 1910 can help you see things better today.
